Creative Minds Learning Center was founded on one simple belief:
Every child deserves a place where they feel safe, loved, encouraged, and excited to learn.
After spending four wonderful years operating a successful in-home childcare program, our founder, Kelcie Barber, dreamed of creating something even bigger—a place where more children could grow, explore, and build a strong foundation for their future. In 2026, that dream became a reality with the opening of Creative Minds Learning Center.
At Creative Minds, we know that childhood is about more than just learning letters and numbers. It’s about building confidence, encouraging curiosity, developing friendships, and creating memories that last a lifetime. Our classrooms are designed to provide hands-on learning, creative exploration, and meaningful experiences that help every child grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.
We believe parents are our partners. By maintaining open communication and creating a welcoming environment, we strive to make every family feel like they are part of the Creative Minds family from the very first day. Our dedicated team is committed to providing high-quality care in a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where children are encouraged to learn through play, discover their unique talents, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Meet Our Team
Kelcie Barber
Owner, Creative Minds Learning Center (Est. 2026)
Hello! I’m Kelcie Barber, the proud owner of Creative Minds Learning Center, established in 2026. I have dedicated my career to providing children with a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.
Before opening Creative Minds Learning Center, I successfully owned and operated an in-home childcare program for four years, where I built lasting relationships with families and gained valuable hands-on experience. I hold my Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential as well as my Child Care Administration credential, allowing me to combine quality early childhood education with strong leadership and program management.
Outside of the classroom, I am a proud mom to my two children, Brantlee and Willow. My favorite way to spend time is with my family, whether we’re making memories together or enjoying a day out on the water.
I look forward to partnering with families and creating a warm, welcoming environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Hi! My name is Amber. I have been working in childcare since 2018. I also worked as a paraprofessional for 1.5 years. I absolutely love working with children and helping teach their little minds.
I strive to work with each child one-on-one to support their individual learning and growth.I can’t wait to meet your little ones, help them learn, and be a part of their early childhood journey. I look forward to meeting all of you!

Hi! I’m Emma, and I’ve been working with children for a year and a half. I love creating a fun, safe, and nurturing classroom where every child feels loved, supported, and encouraged to learn.
One of my favorite parts of being a preschool teacher is watching children grow, gain confidence, and develop into wonderful kids. Seeing their personalities shine and celebrating their milestones is incredibly rewarding.
